This shows the result of a point cloud scan Skiplum recently carried out at Gålå in Sør-Fron, of the arena and stage area used by Peer Gynt AS.

To make the restoration of an old protected building more efficient, Skiplum AS was engaged to carry out point cloud scanning and produce a model of the upper building at Sygard Grytting.
Survey control points matter for accurate positioning on building projects, but they are often left out of digital models. Using IFC and Python, they can easily be visualised and linked directly to the BIM model, giving better precision and traceability.
